Oh what can we say about our pal Dale K? He is just a hoot! Dale is kind, generous and always has smile to share. His laugh is contagious and when he’s around you can’t help but feel an extra pep in your step. Dale has been volunteering with us for a little over a year and has given 280+ hours of service! Over the last year he has walked miles and miles with pups in need, taken many, many dogs home on Gimme-A-Break, has been a huge help at some events and is a regular Retriever for our Wednesday Playgroups. Brie K, who oversees our Playgroups program said, "he always shows up with such a great attitude and his happiness for being here and getting the dogs out to play is infectious. He always puts a smile on everyone’s face and his pockets are never without a treat for the dogs!"
We are grateful for our rare souls who are willing to be to the shelter by 6am to help make sure our dogs get their wiggles out in the morning and Dale is one of those top notch volunteers who fits the bill. We appreciate volunteers like Dale each and are lucky to have him on our AAWL volunteer crew!
