Shadow is infamous around AAWL for having an exclusive friend club that only the best people get to join. Membership fee starts at 2000 treats, while a premium fee goes all the way to French fries once a week. She takes her time reviewing every application and will let you know when you’re in! She won’t send out an acceptance letter, but you’ll know when she decides butt scritches from you are the best and gets in her happy howls during playtime!

I found out early on that she may actually be part cat- she loves when you run your hand under a blanket, and she will pounce on it and chase it like a cat. She loooovees "blankeytime" which is just rolling around and wrapping herself up in any newly presented linens.”

Because of her gentle soul, she’d be happiest in an adults-only household where she can shine without competition (i.e., other animals or loud toddlers with sticky hands). She has her house manners down, she’s crate-trained, potty-trained, and she knows a few fancy commands - basically, she’s low-maintenance with just enough quirks to keep things interesting.
