Associate, Ballard Spahr
Cecilia Nieto is an Arizona native, practicing attorney, and lifelong dog lover with two rescues from other organizations. She said she has friends and family “who have had amazing experiences adopting from AAWL and she would love to join this cause.” Cecilia is an associate in Ballard Spahr’s Litigation Department, focusing her practice on labor and employment matters. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Cecilia was an associate attorney at a National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms-certified law firm dedicated to employment law. During law school, Cecilia developed experience through working at the Center for Public Health Law and Policy and the Lodestar Mediation Clinic, and as a summer associate at a Chambers USA-ranked leading Arizona litigation firm. She received her law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2021 and her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in 2017.
