Meet Yoyo, a sweet 2 year old Lab mix who has been waiting far too long for her chance to shine outside the shelter. She’s lived in a home before, so she already knows how to be a polite houseguest—she’s house trained and comfortable in a home setting.
Yoyo can be shy with men and is considered a behavior dog, so she’ll need a foster who is patient, understanding, and willing to help her build confidence. We recommend a home with kids who are high-school age or older, as she does best in a calm, predictable environment. Yoyo is also selective with other dogs, so she’ll need a mandatory meet-and-greet with any resident pups to ensure it’s a good match!
As a long-time shelter resident, Yoyo is more than ready for a break! A foster home would give her the decompression, comfort, and stability she needs—and help us see how her behaviors improve outside the stressful shelter setting.
