Berkeley is a 7.5 year old Aussie mix who spent her whole life in a home before ending up in the shelter. And for a dog like Berkeley, the shelter is especially hard. She’s always been anxious by nature, but the constant noise, unfamiliar surroundings, and lack of routine have been very hard on her. We would love to get this sweet girl out of the shelter environment and into a home!

Despite her nerves, Berkeley is a well-mannered, house-trained girl who knows how to be part of a home! She’s the kind of dog who thrives in a quiet environment with gentle people and predictable days. An adult-only home would be the best fit for her, where she can take her time to settle! She’s fearful of other dogs, so a meet n' greet is required to make sure it is a good fit.

Berkeley is very shy when meeting new people. She needs time and patience but once she trusts you, she’s incredibly sweet, loyal, and gentle. She just needs someone willing to move at her pace!
