Students will explore the signs, symptoms, and treatments for commonly seen diseases of today’s popular pets, while gentle animal restraint techniques will be discussed and practiced.

Students will practice performing a veterinary examination while using gentle restraint to ensure the safety of members of our exotic animal collection*.

*Animals may include a rabbit, ferret, guinea pig, lizard, tortoise or snake

*AAWL reserves the right to cancel Veterinary Science Experience if the minimum number of 3 registrations are not met 48 hours prior to the class. You will be notified via email if the program has been canceled.
