Garbanzo is a 1-year-old Coonhound mix who would love to catch a break from the shelter life as it's beginning to take a toll on him. He has spent most of his life in a home, so he already knows the basics! He is house-trained and potty-trained, which makes the transition into a foster home much smoother. He’s a smart, eager dog who just needs a place where he can feel safe and settled!

Garbanzo would do best in a home with middle school-aged children or older. He is very energetic and can be “full throttle” when meeting other dogs, meaning he comes in excited and ready to engage, so any resident dogs would need to meet him first to ensure a good fit.

He is an active, fun-loving dog who will thrive with someone who can match his energy and provide structure and guidance. While he may not be the type to lounge around all day, he has the potential to be an incredibly loyal and entertaining companion!

Garbanzo loves to be around people and would make such a great house guest, so if you're looking for a temporary buddy, he would love to spend some time with you while he waits for his forever family!
