Kiwi is a sweet 5-year-old Staffy mix who is looking for a temporary foster home where she can relax, decompress, and enjoy a break from shelter life while she waits for her forever family.
Shelter life has been stressful for Kiwi, and she's ready to trade her kennel for a comfy couch, a cozy bed, and some one-on-one attention. A foster home would give her the chance to show off her true personality outside of the shelter environment and help her recharge while she searches for her adopter.
Kiwi may do well in a home with children of middle school age and older who can respect her space and help her feel comfortable as she settles in. When it comes to other dogs, Kiwi has mixed feelings and can be selective about her canine companions. Because of this, any resident dog would need to meet Kiwi beforehand to make sure it's a good match for everyone.
Kiwi absolutely loves toys and enjoys spending her time playing with them. She's a bit of a toy collector and prefers to keep all her treasures to herself rather than sharing, so she'll appreciate having her own stash of fun things to enjoy!
