Ricochet is a 2-year-old Cattle Dog mix who has been showing high levels of fear, anxiety, and stress (FAS), and the shelter environment has caused her to become increasingly reactive. What she really needs is a chance to decompress in a calm, stable home!
Ricochet is very fearful of new people and especially shy around men, so she is looking for an experienced foster who can help manage her fearful behaviors and give her the time and space she needs to build trust. Once she feels safe, she has the potential to make great progress outside of the shelter environment.
She has mixed feelings about other dogs and would need to meet any resident dogs before going home to ensure a good fit. We believe she would do best in a dog-savvy home with children middle school age and older who can respect her boundaries.
