Basic Obedience Level 3

You’ve put in the work and now it’s time to take it into the world. Level 3 is designed for dogs and pet parents who are ready to put their skills to the test in real-life environments, with real-life distractions.

Together, you’ll fine-tune the cues you’ve been building, add new skills like body awareness and polite greetings with strangers, and even begin learning how to help your dog feel comfortable and cooperative during veterinary visits. Those are skills that benefit your whole family for years to come.

Class size:
To give every dog and pet parent the attention they deserve, classes are kept intentionally small, with a maximum of six dogs.
Prerequisites:
  • Provide proof of current vaccinations
  • Dogs must be at least six months old
  • Basic Obedience Levels 1 and 2 or equivalent as demonstrated in a private consult on-site prior to class beginning
Class Duration:
Four Week Course (one hour classes)

What to Bring:

  • Current proof of dog’s vaccinations (this is required for participation and must be uploaded at the time of registration)
  • Completed liability form (linked in your registration confirmation)
  • Yummy treats your dog LOVES! Please bring a variety as we will not be able to share due to cross-contamination reasons
  • Leash and collar or harness (NO Retractable leashes allowed)
  • A mat or blanket for your dog to settle on is recommended
  • A long leash (10-30 feet and non-retractable) to practice at greater distances
  • Nail trimmers or a brush is needed for some sessions
