Melony is an 8-month-old Mastiff mix looking for a patient, loving foster home where she can start to feel safe and build her confidence. Right now, the world feels a little overwhelming for her but with the right environment, she has so much potential to blossom.
Melony would do best in an adult-only home, as she’s still learning to trust. She can be shy around men at first, but with time, patience, and gentle reassurance, she will warm up. When it comes to other dogs, Melony comes in full throttle with excitement, so any resident dogs would need a proper meet-and-greet before going home. We think she would benefit from having a confident dog companion who can help show her the ropes and teach her that the world isn’t so scary.
The good news? Melony already has a great foundation, she is potty trained and house trained, and she has successfully lived in a home before, so don't let her age fool you!
