Growing up in the Midwest, Xanath had pretty much every pet you could imagine including dogs, snakes, chickens, ducks, and even a goat. Her love of animals only grew from that point and led her to volunteer with animal rescues both locally and internationally. These opportunities have allowed her to work with dogs, monkeys, manatees, and sloths! Xanath attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout to study event planning in the hopes of one day having a career planning events for an animal rescue.
After moving to Arizona in April 2018, Xanath heard about AAWL and The League and knew this was a great opportunity to volunteer and gain valuable experience! She is excited to play with the amazing animals at AAWL and volunteer at the fun events!
Xanath and her husband, Matt, have two rescue pups, Bowman and Hooper, and hope to one day be able to be foster parents to more pets! When not working or playing with her pups, Xanath likes to go running and watch movies.
