Capital Campaign - Welcome

Thank YOU for wanting to know more about our Capital Campaign!

Last year, we helped over 3,000 animals receive the love, attention and medical care they needed. As a result of this important and exciting Capital Campaign, we will be able to significantly increase the numbers of animals adopted each year. Doing so will reduce the number of healthy and treatable animals at risk of euthanasia in our community. In addition to a new adoption center, the upgrades to our education and training center will allow us to expand our programs to help prevent animal abandonment and cruelty. And, as a major resource for other animal rescue groups in the community, a larger medical clinic will help us save even more lives.

A new modern facility will allow us to:

• Increase the number of adoptions from 3,000 to 5,200 – a 58% increase over 2010.
• Medically treat the additional animals we save, as well as offer veterinarian services to others.
• Prevent disease and illness in the animals in our care.
• Reduce stress to the animals so that they are healthier, happier, and more adoptable.
• Be a warm and welcoming place for potential adopters to visit.
• Be a community resource center where children and adults are educated to become responsible pet owners.
• Offer education and training to address the root causes of animal abuse, homelessness, and abandonment.
• Create a pleasant, improved work space for employees and volunteers.

Not only is now a GREAT time to invest in our expansion and capacity to save more animal lives, but we have a matching donation opportunity. Your donation is matched dollar for dollar by an anonymous donor through March 2012. We need to raise an additional $500,000 and your donation in combination with the gifts of others will help us get there!
